아이들이 영어를 공부하면서 흥미를 느끼지 못하면 공부효과가 적으며 오히려 거부반응까지 나타날 수 있는 것 같습니다. 이 책 인사이드 아웃의 경우는 애니매이션 영화로도 유명했기 때문에 먼저 아이들에게 영화로 접하게 한 후 영어책을 공부하는 것도 나름 아이들에게 영어에 대한 재미를 느낄 수 있을 것 같습니다. 조금씩 영화내용과 매칭시키면서 영어를 해석하고 공부하면서 영어 습득 능력을 키울 수 있으며 영어를 그냥 스트레스 받는 공부라는 생각이 아닌 언어를 배운다는 생각이 들게 하면서 공부할 수 있지 않을 까 싶습니다. 성인들도 영어공부를 위해 팝송을 듣거나 영화를 자막없이 보거나 CNN를 계속 듣는 식의 방법을 사용하듯이 영어를 처음 접하게 하는 우리 아이들에게도 이런 식의 영어를 접하게 하는 게 효과가 더 좋게 나오지 않을 까 싶습니다.
